Privacy Policy

Short version: We collect only the health and account data you provide to run the app. We do not sell or share your data with advertisers. You can export or delete your data at any time.

1. Who We Are

WeightPlanner Pro is operated by weightplanner.fit. If you have questions about this policy, contact us at hello@weightplanner.fit.

2. Information We Collect

We collect information you actively provide and data generated through your use of the app:

Account information: Email address used to create your account.
Health & body metrics: Body weight entries (date, weight), calorie intake, height, date of birth, activity factor, and any notes you log.
Sprint & goal data: Sprint names, date ranges, target weights, calorie targets, and roadmap plans you configure.
Oura Ring data (optional): If you connect your Oura account, we receive selected metrics from the Oura API (such as sleep scores, readiness scores, activity levels, and heart-rate metrics) required to power the app's planning and insights features. This connection is entirely optional and can be revoked at any time.
Usage data: Standard server/network logs (IP address, browser type, page visits) retained for security and debugging. We do not build advertising profiles from this data.

3. How We Use Your Information

To operate and personalise WeightPlanner Pro for you.
To sync your data across devices via your account.
To calculate progress, projections, and insights within the app.
To respond to support requests you send us.
To detect and prevent fraud or abuse.

Health-related data (such as body weight, calorie intake, sleep, readiness, or activity metrics) is used solely to provide planning, tracking, and forecasting features inside WeightPlanner Pro. This data is never sold, used for advertising, or shared with third parties except as required to operate the service.

We do not use your health data for advertising, profiling, or any purpose other than delivering the service to you.

4. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored securely on Supabase infrastructure (hosted on AWS). Supabase encrypts data at rest and in transit (TLS). Row-level security policies ensure only your account can access your records.

No system is perfectly secure. In the unlikely event of a data breach that affects your rights, we will notify you promptly in accordance with applicable law.

5. Third-Party Services

Supabase — authentication and database hosting. Supabase Privacy Policy.
Oura Health — optional wearable integration. Connecting Oura is subject to Oura's Privacy Policy. We store only the data fields you authorise during the OAuth flow.
Apple HealthKit (optional) — if enabled, reads body weight and active energy burned from Apple Health and writes logged weights back. Governed by the permissions you grant in iOS Settings → Health. We never read data you have not explicitly authorised.

We do not integrate advertising networks, analytics trackers (e.g. Google Analytics), or social media pixels.

6. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data. We may share data only:

With service providers listed above, strictly to operate the app.
If required by law, court order, or to protect the safety of users.
In the event of a merger or acquisition, with notice provided to users.

7. Your Rights & Choices

Access & export: Export all your logged data as a CSV file from the Settings page at any time.
Correction: Edit or delete any individual entry from within the app.
Deletion: You can permanently delete your account and associated data directly from the Settings page inside the app. Alternatively, you may request deletion by contacting hello@weightplanner.fit. We will action your request within 30 days.
Oura disconnection: Revoke Oura access from the Settings page. This removes our ability to fetch future Oura data; historical data already stored will be deleted on request.
California / GDPR residents: You have additional rights under CCPA and GDPR. Contact us at the email above to exercise them.

8. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your personal data is permanently removed from our systems within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

9. Children's Privacy

WeightPlanner Pro is intended for users aged 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us data, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date at the top of this page will reflect the most recent revision. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.

WeightPlanner Pro provides informational tools for planning nutrition and bodyweight goals. The app does not provide medical advice and should not replace guidance from a qualified healthcare professional.
